2016 T&T National Culinary Team DINNERS!

2016 National Culinary Team Dinners Trinidad TobagoThe Trinidad & Tobago National Culinary Team dinners are back as the team prepares for the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association’s 2016 Taste of the Caribbean competition, which will be held in June in Mimi, Florida!

Since 1997, Team T&T has entered Taste of the Caribbean on 12 occasions and hauled in 52 medals – 23 Gold, 20 Silver and 9 Bronze. Trinidad & Tobago is also the ONLY country to win the coveted title of Caribbean National Team of the Year five (5) times!

The T&T National Culinary Team will hold a series of practice dinners (open to the public) at the Hilton Trinidad & Conference Centre Savannah Terrace, at 7:00 pm on the following Mondays:

  • March 14th – link to pictures from dinner
  • March 21st / sold-out
  • April 4th / duck, pork, shrimp / seats available
  • April 11th / chicken, scallops, beef / seats available
  • April 18th / chicken, fish, steak / seats available
  • April 25th / salmon, duck, shrimp / seats available
  • May 2nd
  • May 9th
  • May 16th
  • May 23rd

Tickets are $250.00 per person  for a three-course dinner with wine. 

Menus will not be available before the dinners as the team will prepare the meal from a basket of mystery items presented each week. However, you can enquire about the entrées (meat or seafood) in the basket for the date(s) you are interested in.  Please keep in mind that these are practice sessions, and as such, all the plates will be the same, and no individual orders/requests will be taken based on likes or preferences.
