Scones, puffs or eclairs, we have a thing for bite-sized treats and afternoon tea at the HYATT TRINIDAD with its gorgeous waterfront view.
Held every Wednesday at the Hyatt’s Cinnamon cafe, afternoon tea is a welcome respite from the mid-week doldrums so when the hotel invited us to a special tea last Wednesday, we jumped at the chance. In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Hyatt Trinidad has created a special menu and will donate 50 percent of its afternoon tea sales during October to the Trinidad & Tobago Cancer Society, an organisation dear to our hearts.
Go, enjoy the tea and treats both savory and sweet, and help send some monetary love to the Trinidad & Tobago Cancer Society. One more thing, if you’re over the age of 40, don’t forget to schedule your annual screening mammogram.
Reservations for the Hyatt Trinidad’s afternoon tea are encouraged and can be made by calling (868) 821-6553. Afternoon tea is held every Wednesday from 3:30pm to 5pm; the cost is $150.00 per person exclusive of 10% service charge and VAT.
Now onto the savory and sweet treats that we tasted, which were appropriately pink to make you Think Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month (link to all the pictures here):
