Two new restaurants opened in February and March:
- CHOP CHOPS GOURMET MARKET & BISTRO (Port of Spain, Trinidad) opened in February and serves gourmet brick oven pizzas, salads, and chef’s specials like Filet of Fresh Red Snapper marinated with tomato, roasted garlic, and basil. The best part is that you can take home specials like the one above and bake it in your oven or enjoy it at Chop Chops. Newsday’s Anne Hilton seems to really like it, check out her review here. - SUTRA LOUNGE (La Romaine, San Fernando, Trinidad) is an Indian-themed bar that opened in March. The bar menu includes specialty cocktails like Tamarind Margaritas and Grey Goose Daab (served in a coconut) along with samosas, kebabs, curries, tandoori wings and breads.
