A few Fridays ago, we were invited to dine at Crews Inn’s LIGHTHOUSE RESTAURANT for a special Chef’s Tasting Menu. As always, the restaurant’s fantastic waterfront ambiance grabbed the lead role while we feasted on culinary standouts like the Roast Fillet of Sea Bass over Salsa Huancaina, Saffron Pomme Purée & Macedoine Vegetables.
Sadly, due to camera issues we weren’t able to document every item on the Chef’s Table Menu, including the Lobster Carpaccio starter, which we adored (and are determined to replicate at home).
Desserts on offer that evening included a delightful Maple Poached Apples Brulee & Caramel Crème Anglaise served w/Vanilla Ice Cream.
Like a magnet, the sunset at Crew’s Inn beckoned us again and we returned on Ash Wednesday, enjoying cocktails against the backdrop of another stunning sunset. The chef graciously prepared cutters that were perfect companions to our impromptu sunset lime.
LIGHTHOUSE RESTAURANT has an a la carte menu for both lunch and dinner, and features a daily Chef Tasting Menu (excluding Thursdays) for lunch and dinner, which changes weekly. Thursdays bring a buffet with a live grill, while Saturday and Sunday offer a buffet breakfast and brunch respectively. The restaurant also hosts a special Lobster & Steak night on Mondays!
