Have you pulled up a chair at BACCO, Sando’s first authentic Italian pizzeria?
BACCO PIZZERIA ITALIANA arrived in South Trinidad in December 2012 courtesy of the Montis, the former owners of La Cantina Pizzeria in Tobago. The centerpiece of this Sando pizzeria is a wood-fired oven, which turns out superlative pizza pies. BACCO’s lineup also includes a changing menu of soups, salads, pastas and small plates (all driven by what’s available daily in the market), as well as desserts like a Nutella Pizza, chocolate mousse, tiramisu and panna cotta.
Thankfully, BACCO will do triple duty as a restaurant, wine bar* and deli, selling Italian wines, cold cuts and Dolce Valle’s wonderful locally-made Italian cheeses to enjoy at home. Links to our BACCO pictures are here.
