SMAKS BESPOKE TEAS (Trinidad & Tobago)
We stumbled onto SMAKS BESPOKE TEAS, a local tea company, at Magdalena’s Pembois Buffet Restaurant in Tobago.
The SMAKS tea collection is the brainchild of Kiran Akal, a Trinidadian with a lifelong love for tea. There are seven teas available — Barbados Silver, Tobago Afternoon, Trinidad Breakfast; Bermuda Pink, Antillean Green, Grenadines Purple and Caribbean Chai.
Our tea pick at Magdalena’s brunch was the Caribbean Chai, which was so lovely that we ordered it twice.
