Thanks to local CNC3 TV you can cook alongside and learn from Khalid Mohammed, Trinidad & Tobago’s premier chef and restaurateur (CHAUD RESTAURANTCHAUD CREOLE, and CHAUD CAFE).

Christmas Cooking with Chef Khalid features Mohammed at his best, walking us through sophisticated but accessible menus that offer fresh, new options for your Christmas dinner or lunch.  Most recipes incorporate local and international ingredients, and whether you’re in Trinidad & Tobago or abroad, they can be easily located.

The show features favourite Christmas dishes such as Brown Sugar-Dijon-Maple Glazed Ham; Homemade Chow Chow; Portuguese-Style Marinated Garlic Pork Crown Roast; and Herb Butter Crusted Turkey.

As always, the episodes includes excellent cooking and food preparation tips. (Past episodes are available on the CNC3 website, see the menu links above.)  The show airs on Mondays at 9pm on CNC3 channel with rebroadcasts on Wednesdays at 9:30am and Sundays at 6pm.  This episodes are filmed at Fanatic Kitchen Studio in Trinidad.
