The Invaders Steel Orchestra’s 10th annual PAN, PARANG & PORK event is Sunday, November 4, 2012.
Pork dishes and other food delights are on the menu with appetizers like pig foot souse, geera pork, roast pig, and sweet & sour pork; and entrees such as stew pork, sliced leg of ham and pork pastelles. Non-pork appetizers are also available, such as buffalo wings, fish balls and meat balls. The non-pork entrees include sliced roast beef, festive chicken, and a choice of a beef or chicken pastelle. Sides – sauteed cassava, pigeon peas, savoury rice and a Christmas salad – also will be served.The live entertainers on tap are the Cal Invaders, H2O PHLO 2G, The Jacobs Family along with Scrunter, Los Dinamicos, DJ Crosby Sounds and the Invaders Youth Steel Orchestra.
