UPMARKET is the best thing to happen to Trinidad’s nascent foodie scene in years!

This monthly movable market (dates and locations are below) unites a diverse group of local artisans to sell gourmet food items as well as art, crafts, jewelry, stationery, hair & body products, and much more.

UpMarket’s food vendors offer a wide variety of foods under one roof, including farm-fresh produce; fresh juices; DOLCE VALLE’s artisan cheeses made right here in Trinidad & Tobago; condiments and sauces from SUMPTUOUSLY ORGASMIC CHUTNEY, CRATE FOODS, NICE & SPICY, AMBROSIA BY CHRISTINE and Ian Rooks’ FLAVOURS OF THE WORLD; pestos and sausage from DEL MANO; loads of local pepper sauces; LA BOULANGÈRE ARTISANN breads; pastries and desserts; VEGA BOYZ sorbets; and ice cream from DREAMY CREAMY or SWEET SPOT ICE CREAM.

Prepared foods are also available from ZAAKI‘s menu of tiramisu, pain aux chocolat, spanokopita, spinach or meat lasagna hot lunches.

• APRIL 2013 - UpMarket is Saturday, April 6th at the Woodbrook Youth Facility, 9:30am to 3pm.
• MARCH 2013 - UpMarket is Saturday, March 2nd at the Woodbrook Youth Facility, 9:30am to 3pm.
  
• FEBRUARY 2013 - UpMarket is Saturday, February 9th at the Woodbrook Youth Facility, 9:30am to 3pm.
• DECEMBER 2012 – UpMarket is Saturday, December 1st, 15th and 22nd at the Woodbrook Youth Facility. Times are 9:30am to 3pm.
• NOVEMBER 2012 – UpMarket is Saturday, November 10th (9:30am-3pm) at the Woodbrook Youth Facility; UpMarket South has been rescheduled for November 25th (10am-4pm) in South Trinidad.
• OCTOBER 2012 - UpMarket is Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the Woodbrook Youth Facility and UpMarket South is Saturday, October 13, 2012 in South Trinidad at Oasis (101 Circular Road in Mon Repos, San Fernando).  Times are 9:30am to 3pm.
• SEPTEMBER 2012 – TWO UpMarkets in September: Saturday, September 1st at the Woodbrook Youth Facility and Saturday, September 8th in South Trinidad at Oasis (101 Circular Road in Mon Repos, San Fernando).  Times are 9:30am to 3pm.
• AUGUST 2012 – UpMarket will be on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at the Woodbrook Youth Facility from 9:30am to 3pm. (Cancelled due to flooding situation.)
• JULY 2012 – UpMarket is in South Trinidad on July 21st at Oasis (101 Circular Road in Mon Repos, San Fernando).
• JULY 2012 – UpMarket is Saturday, July 7, 2012 at the Woodbrook Youth Facility from 9:30am to 3pm.
• JUNE 2012 UpMarket is Saturday, June  2, 2012 at the Woodbrook Youth Facility from 9:30am to 3pm.
• MAY 2012 UpMarket is Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the Woodbrook Youth Facility from 9:30am to 3pm.
• MARCH 2012 UpMarket is Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the Woodbrook Youth Facility from 9:30am to 3pm.
• FEBRUARY 2012 UpMarket is Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the Woodbrook Youth Facility from 9:30am to 3pm.
• NO UpMarket in January 2012.
• DECEMBER 2011 UpMarket is Saturday, Dec 10, 2011  at the Woodbrook Youth Facility from 9:30am to 2:30pm.
• NOVEMBER 2011 UpMarket is Saturday, Nov 12, 2011 at the Woodbrook Youth Facility from 9:30am to 2:30pm.
• OCTOBER 2011 UpMarket is Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011 at the Woodbrook Youth Facility from 9:30am to 2:30pm.

TIPS for UpMarket Attendees - Bring CASH (there is no LINX); Bring cooler bags, if you plan to buy meats, cheese or frozen items; Try to arrive well before 12pm, several vendors may be sold out if you arrive later; Consider pre-ordering from the vendors that sell prepared foods.
