Be Free Foods (Trinidad)
Located on Mucurapo Road, BE FREE FOODS is a large organic food store carrying more than 1,200 food items, including dry goods, frozen goods, as well as gluten free, dairy free, wheat free and nut free food products.
The store stocks a few local products including Gina’s Chocolate Truffles and locally-grown pestitcide-free lettuce from Greenwater Farms (fresh lettuce is delivered on Wednesdays and Saturdays).

According to the Guardian “the food items at Be Free Foods, in addition to being grown and processed free of synthetic food chemicals and additives, are also produced to meet the needs of persons who have dietary allergies to foods such as eggs, dairy, sea foods, nuts, gluten, sugar, wheat and cereals such as oats, just to name a few.”
I am from Toronto Canada and at this store I was able to buy everything for our Christmas dinner..Organic Turkey, Quinoa, Maple syrup, oil…you name it!
